MADGE DARGAN, MA, OTR, CHT
Madge Dargan is an Occupational Therapist and Certified Hand Therapist with over 20 years of experience in hand and upper extremity rehabilitation. Madge trained under and eventually became partners with Anita Simons before taking over the practice in 2014. Madge is an adjunct faculty member in the Department of Occupational Therapy at New York University and actively participates in the supervision of students in clinical fieldwork. Madge is a member of the American Society of Hand Therapists and the American Occupational Therapy Association. In addition to her private practice, Madge has volunteered with the Global Therapy Group, delivering therapy services and providing educational outreach in Port-au-Prince, Haiti.

RUTH METZGER,

Ruth Metzger is an Occupational Therapist and a Certified Hand Therapist. She has worked in both hospital settings and private practices since 2009, and has been formally affiliated with HandTherapy 57 since 2017. Ruth serves as an adjunct faculty member in the Department of Occupational Therapy at New York University, and is a member of the American Society of Hand Therapists.

JAMES DECARLO, MS, OTR, CHT
James DeCarlo is an Occupational Therapist and Certified Hand Therapist. He has been a dedicated practitioner for more than 25 years, specializing in hand and upper extremity rehabilitation. James has extensive experience, having worked at NYU Medical Center as a Senior Occupational Therapist in both inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation and at Mount Sinai Hospital as a Clinical Hand Specialist. James has been a guest lecturer at Long Island University and York College as well as a splinting lab instructor at New York University.

MARIANNE HEDL,

CHRIS FASANELLA, MS, OTR/L
Marianne Hedl is an Occupational Therapist and Certified Hand Therapist with over 40 years of experience in hand and upper extremity orthopedic rehabilitation. Throughout her career, she has enjoyed positions ranging from staff therapist to department chief at the Hospital for Joint Diseases. She has supervised clinical students and taught Kinesiology and orthotic fabrication labs at New York University, Columbia University, Mercy College and Dominican College.

Chris Fasanella is an Occupational Therapist and Certified Hand Therapist currently practicing in NY and NJ. His experience has been focused on treating conditions of the upper extremity in both outpatient, at Jersey City Medical Center, and in an acute care setting at Hospital for Special Surgery. Chris has been affiliated with HandTherapy 57 since 2022.
